Your photographer should care more about you, your story, and the experience you have with them than just taking photos or updating their own portfolio. The way you feel about the entire experience you had with your creative team (all of your vendors) on you day and in allll of the days leading up to it will mark the way you feel about your day itself AND the feelings that come up when you look at your photos for years to come.

Depending on who you choose to photograph you day, it can either be stressful or can totally put you at-ease. A good photographer can provide a day full of trust and joy and create art that holds the nostalgia of a day that honored your love for years to come. I’d say it’s worth it to make sure you find someone who you can trust, who values and fits you.

Here’s how we will make that happen:

When you book with me, you’re getting a full-on experience that starts with conversations about your vision, your story, and your relationship — because those things matter & are at the forefront of this incredible day. I want to know what you’re about, what you LOVE to do, what lights you up and makes you giddy, what you jam to in the car on a road-trip, your love languages and how you interact, how you met your love, and so much more.

When you choose a collection that fits you, I understand that it couldn’t ever be a “one size fits all”, because no wedding is the same — and I love it that way. There are options and additions that make each collection customizable so we can craft a day that perfectly fits what you’ve envisioned, or what we dream up together.

Depending on your collection & wedding-type, I’m involved wherever you need me from basic organizational help and spreadsheets for you, your bridal party, and all of the vendors at your wedding, to complete planning, organizational assistance, and guidance throughout your session or elopement process.

You’ll receive guidance throughout our process including helpful tips on what to wear, a wide an array of location options in a detailed guide, permit assistance, help with lodging and fun activities in the area. I make sure to scout out your location if at all possible before our time together for the best photos possible based on light and the surrounding area and other factors. In addition, I love to surprise my couples with little personal gifts right to your doorstep along the way for a little encouragement and love in the wedding-planning process.

• start to finish open communication for any booking including unlimited FaceTime calls, emails, & texts

• detailed client guides - help with what to wear, personalized location guides, what to bring to your session, things to remember to bring on your wedding day, what to expect in a session (posing style, time, etc.)

• fun questionnaires that help me get to know you better so I can better document your story

• scheduling assistance with experienced consideration of best lighting for the location & time of year, travel time (driving/walking/hiking depending on location & style), amount of guests, and more

• detailed timelines and photo lists (often for family photos) to stay organized day-of and to hand out to your party & vendors so everyone is on the same page for weddings

• complete planning assistance for elopements & sessions including:

  • providing personalized location options (if not already chosen)

  • full scheduling assistance

  • permit assistance(if necessary)

  • location scouting

  • accommodation and vendor research, and more.

• guided hikes to and from your location(s) for elopements and sessions

• real-time guidance for natural posing in a way that makes you feel comfortable & confident so we create images that truly feel like you

• polaroid images to take with you as you leave the day of your wedding/elopement

• a set of fine art matte prints from your wedding / elopement day

• high resolution digital images delivered to you in the form of a password protected online gallery with unlimited downloads for 6 months

Connection & Trust

I LOVE to get to know my couples… your story is what this experience should be all about — it’s why were here and the reason we’re celebrating. You deserve to work with someone who cares more about your story than “getting a job done” and centers YOU throughout the process — your needs, your vision, elements of your story that should be incorporated in the creation of the best day ever. Taking time and creating this space and giving you a chance to trust me as your photographer and someone who wants the best for you on your day, is absolutely key in my process.

To do that, its important that we get to know each other. I take the time to talk with you, send you a fun questionnaire (kinda like date-night discussion Q’s!) and discuss the key elements and whats important to you so so we can make sure to celebrate in a way that honors you and your love. We can get on one or ten FaceTime calls to discuss details, you’ll never be “too much” here — everything it takes to be sure your love is documented beautifully.

Honoring Your Story

With your love and your story and the forefront, your photos shouldn’t look like everyone else’s, they should look and feel like you.

I use a documentary style that slows down, skips the prom poses, and allows you to freely be you in front of the camera to capture the authentic and tangible moments that last. There won’t be much “stand there & tilt a little” but rather, prompts that fuel your confidence and bring out the truest form of you, even if you feel silly or weird in front of a camera — I think that’s all of us if we’re not afraid to admit it. When you feel comfortable because you can trust the person in behind of the camera, you’re more able to relax and be yourself, share silly stories, laugh, spend moments in silence together, hold hands like you do on date night, lay together as if I’m not there — and in all of that, you’'ll see you in your photos and not some copy and pasted version of someone else.

I document memories that make you feel like you’re back in your wedding clothes when you look back, celebrating that day your worlds collided in the best of ways and began again.

Your day should be unlike anyone else’s, because you’re unlike anyone else. I’ll help you tie together the most beautiful compilation of traditional and “unique to you” details and it’ll be an experience you’ll never forget.

Along with planning a day alongside you, you can also call me your personal guide, wherever we go, making sure you don’t worry once about where to be, what to do, or what’s happening next. Ultimately you should feel laid back and free to celebrate your relationship, not worry about anything or anyone else’s needs.
